They ran so we could walk… Or something like that I can’t English
I believe these are there fake scam apps that got published on snap recently. This was the second time it happened.
What does that even mean? Are less tech savvy people making fun of others facing issues with few Linux clients?
Do not used that word, you are bringing up my PTSD.
Or they are just joking. That’s how it looks to me anyway.
Although a decent amount of people play on mobile it feels like hell. Or maybe I am just not used to it but you definitely have to try it on PC.
Cmon now, there’s no one stupid enough to do that and regret later on. Right?
My experience with my company is exact opposite. Apparently Bitwarden and Vivaldi are not allowed because they have a lot of vulnerabilities so people should continue using edge/chrome and a plain text for storing all their passwords that they often show it on screen share. Had an issue with 2FA cause those assholes decided it’s fun to force the Microsoft propriety authenticator for everyone so I can’t use aegis anymore. That issue took a whole fucking month to get resolved cause none of them could comprehend their almighty Microsoft app didn’t work on my grapheneos. On a unrelated note, anyone got any openings at your company?
You say that as if the later is worse
Not all of your games will work on linux but thats not a linux problem but a game developer fault. You cant do anything about that by switching to a different distro. Especially those fps games with intrusive kernel level anti cheat will never be supported. Go to protondb and look up all the games that you need and see what works. I personally made the switch and simply stopped playing those that doesn’t as for each that doesnt work theres a dozen of them that does. Proton really is a godsend.
And installing anything on linux isnt such voodoo magic that you have to worry about. For example flatpak lets you do “flatpak install something” and everything is done without you opening your browser and downloading stuff, going through a lengthy annoying installer. If you want to completely avoid opening terminal then some have appstore like discover on nobara which is simply microsoft store but actually usable. For those that arent on repo you can still download a package and install like windows. Linux really isnt that hard and i would even say its easier than windows if you get one of stable ready to run distros that simply works without any tweaking. It took you years to get used to windows so everything different looks difficult when it just takes a month or 2 to get used to it. If you dont want to make the jump then dual boot it and use it for a while till youre ready to remove windows completely.
Are those lot of things actually useful? I forcibly removed edge or most of its files anyway and had no issue. The links won’t work obviously but that’s a feature to me. Fuck edge and windows.
The role is reversed now but i am guessing they didn’t allow linux so that’s the only way for him to use it?
Does he have an decade old ThinkPad with barebone arch by any chance?
I get your sentiment on people skipping the reasearch part and jumping to asking help but I wouldn’t say everything is documented tho. Although for the few problems that I did have arch documentation was pretty nice. I myself have an bluetooth bug that I eventually gave up as I couldn’t find a fix to it, that’s the only post I made with this account if u want to look it up. With things constantly changing and the infinite possibilities of config, there will always be some unknown bugs or issues that no documentation can cover.
Even fantasy should have some limits folks c’mon now
Iirc there were some windows 10 patch tools to debloat and remove some of these annoyance from the iso and some scripts for already installed ones. Try some of them, it was pretty good when I last used it but can’t remember the ones I personally used sorry.
That sounds insane, are computer parts in general that much more expensive than other countries?
