A spokesperson for the company confirmed the incident but declined to provide specifics on how many factories in North America were impacted. Foxconn has factories in Wisconsin, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Indiana and several across Mexico.
I didn’t know Foxconn actually had much manufacturing here, I remember that bullshit deal Wisconsin made to tax it’s residents and give it to this multinational corporation to build there, what 8 years ago or so.
This company has never came through on it’s promises it made for tax breaks either by the way, shit company, they are abusive in East Asia too.
