I would much prefer someone that accepts their level of contribution than one who thinks “Claude can make me a valuable contributor even if I have no idea how to”.

Adding “and willingness” to the first clause of that adage nullifies the typical conservative hand-wringing about socialism.
100% agree. Knowing enough to know how much you don’t know is an asset in itself.
