I played the first one when it came out. Never finished though. Didn’t hold my interest.

I’ve never had to do that and I’ve used plenty of Nvidia cards, assuming we’re talking Windows.

Even if that is how it’s working, it’s up to the website to send that command. The app isn’t looking at the URL you enter. That’s why you can force the browser to go to the desktop version of the site to actually get it to load. The URL is the same. In any case, the company controls the app and the website. It’s on them for how it works.

And even if you prevent it from loading the app, there’s probably still not going to be a website to load.

It’s annoying because it’s the default functionality, not that there is no way to get a website to load.

Don’t even get me started on sites that automatically load the app when you go there on a phone.

I’ve never heard of that rule. There are a few combos that are basically always that way though: pt, gn, and kn come to mind.

I don’t see that backfiring for someone who isn’t in the know.

Which is when I just do it I tell them afterward. I build it into my estimates so it doesn’t put us behind.
