Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.

I do use Linux, and I’m usually glad about it, but I wasted an hour last night trying to figure out how to change my microphone port to a subwoofer port, and never did solve the problem. Linux is awesome, but sometimes basic stuff is ridiculously difficult or impossible.
There’s a bigger issue than your commit message if you don’t even know what you just coded and are committing.
Arch is awesome. I use Arch on my laptop. I’ve been thinking about changing my Pop desktop to Arch, but the GFX driver management for Pop is super convenient and I have steam all set up exactly as I want it. I don’t really want to go through all the set-up again.
I love gnome!
Touché!
It’s a bit extreme to say Ubuntu sucks ass. Ubuntu brought Linux to the masses.
I don’t understand why this is such a popular meme. Take 5 minutes to read about how Vim works, and you won’t have any more issues.
Fuck yeah!
I still have the very first computer that I ever built, all the way back in 2001. I never had anything but fond feelings about that machine.
I’ve found a lot of user generated posts here to contribute to, but the article thing has started occurring more often recently.
Thanks for the recommendation. I assumed active meant people were engaging, but I guess up-dooting counts as engagement.
I’ve been wondering if we’re losing users. My “Everything” feed sorted by Active is full of posts with zero comments, and a great deal of them are just news article links that were probably automated.
Why does it look like poop?
I remember paying for Snow Leopard and being excited about it. Apple is nothing if not great at marketing.
Here’s another one: Companies depend on Adobe.
It sometimes destroys the Linux boot sector too. But it’s simple enough to chroot with a live usb and repair it. I don’t even have both OS as an option. Mine boots straight into Linux unless I interrupt it and use the boot another drive option. Linux and Windows have their own separate boot sectors, but Windows will fubar the Linux sector randomly.
That just reminds me why I left in the first place. Bye!
Their CMS and their analytics are fucking awful. Such a convoluted mess. They make all the wrong decisions, and then criticize when you don’t use their recommended approach. They don’t even understand the basics of good website development, why would we follow their recommendations?
Yes, and it’s trivial to retask with the AC97 HD Audio program in Windows, but I couldn’t find an equivalent program for Linux.
