What are you trying to say with this? You think running automatic, unattended updates with a cronjob is a good idea?

The windows store never really took off unfortunately. It’s mostly filled with random jank in my experience.

Google loves money. They contribute to open source sometimes, because it will financially benefit them in some fashion.
They don’t “love” or “care” about programmers, Linux or anything like that. If tomorrow it was more profitable for them to axe all their open source contributions, they would.

Same way you install the OS without internet, put it on a thumb drive.
