Glad to witness that Epic Games sees the reason and benefit of distributing to the other operating systems besides Windows.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Linus Torvalds uses AI to debug an Intel GPU driver bug
1·15 days agoReddit had the Epstein-Zionist entity follow you tirelessly and downvote random posts you made just for speaking out against them in some niche subreddit.
Not to mention the downvote-mentality of the generic NPC Redditor. I’d rather avoid putting effort into speaking publicly, than to have such “debates”. Waste of time if you ask me, because a lot of their locals just sit in their echo chambers and don’t do anything productive with their lives… that is, if they’re real people in the first place and not just AI algorithms or paid bot farms.
Check out Tuxedo Computers, and StarLabs. They have some decent laptop hardware.
But the bigger question is, why are you looking to replace the machine? Apple Silicon is very powerful already, and you’re still supported by Apple on macOS.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Do we think the Framework 13 is ever going to be in stock?

Linux@lemmy.ml•Canadians have a historic opportunity to punch Microsoft in the face
282·22 days agoDitching Microsoft is only a pure benefit.
Linux is free, better maintained, and way less troublesome for proper work. Microsoft ecosystem is just an illusion of comfort that keeps breaking itself the moment it encounters a printer, a virtual machine having issues, or whatever else.
Better invest that money into real human employees rather than paying for all the licensing costs.
While at it, the cybersecurity mafia should also get sanctioned out of existence by making the SOC 2 charade an irrelevant thing. It’s just an overpriced, silly report, not even a proper certification anyway.

Linux@lemmy.ml•The ‘European’ Jolla Phone Is an Anti-Big-Tech SmartphoneEnglish
4·6 months agoGlad to see another Linux phone being added to the current handful - the more, the merrier.
I guess for Americans they can look into the PinePhone by Pine64. There are probably a few other manufacturers out there too.
Oligarchy Linux likely has so many government-backed backdoors that this one was perhaps a consequence of them.
