There are so many reasons why it failed but we all love it so.
I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m here now…

There were some bizarre ads from around the late 90s to early 00s.
The Dreamcast Barber comes to mind.
Some good nostalgia and my god they wouldn’t dare see the light of day anymore.
There was a crossover podcast recently with DCJY and SSS! that was very good. Also I’ve never actually played on a Saturn before but I’m starting to gain interest.
I often used the original Playstation and then my Dreamcast for CDs but not in a long long time.
Thanks. Looks like an interesting adaptation.
Burnout 2 is my favourite. Spent so many hours back then taking it in turns playing with mates. This and NFS Underground…
This reminds me that I still need to try out the Gran Turismo 2 Plus patch.
Yes and no. It’s a detailed topic but for me personally yes it has become more expensive. Especially for collecting older stuff and is also one of the main reasons for moving more to PC gaming. On the plus side though my backlog has seen some action!
Colin McRae Rally 1 & 2 for driving games.
How are you liking the RP3? I don’t own a handheld myself but I’m always tempted to get one.
It’s quite a significant step up in hardware.
I’ve not gone as far as PS3 but for PS2 emulation I had an old PC with an i5 4670, GTX970 and 8GB DDR3 RAM and it worked well.
C64 joystick was the first (playing Professional Ski Simulator…) but the Mega Drive controller was the one I used everyday.
It’s a close call but I would pick the original PlayStation. It still gets regular action to this day and I’ve barely scratched the surface of the games library.
Same, but I have never gotten more than a third of the way through… and I’ve owned it for 20+ years.
Out of Print Archive has many more to view.
Also found this buried in my bookmarks!
No not really but it’s all subjective anyway.
I remember RAGE we good the first time I played but I really struggled with it last year when I tried it again. Also John Goodman voiced a character at the beginning and then buggers off never to be seen again…
