Welcome to Lemmy. This forum is evergreen. If you don’t like it, go back to reddit, it’s more your speed.

Name one country that is perfect. What a shit comment.

There was nothing Windows about that IS but the name. For one, it was great UX. I miss mine too.

GoToSocial is stable and famously light on server resources.

Flip phone

I mean the horizontal desktop version. Not a midi-tower. The one I have has this configuration, anyway.

The mid size versions have 3 drive bays (2x 3.5", one 2.5") plus an optical bay, but only 3 SATA connectors (which was really odd to me). You can find dual SATA adaptors for the “WiFi” M.2 slot if you want to use an adaptor for a 2.5" drive on the optical bay. But if you want more than 4 drives, you’ll need to get creative mounting them.

Thank you.

I’m sure you meant something else, but I can’t deduce what. Dedicated? Separate?

How are the moderation tools? I see matrix having a big troll problem, enough to put me off of it.

Well yes, but you also learned something.

Yowza. Thanks.

What happened to Huntarr?

They don’t dislike it, it just doesn’t make them look edgy. And some people like to (which is fine BTW).

I’ve started on Conectiva in the nineties, Debian, Ubuntu, and settled on Mint. I’ll probably switch to LMDE if at all at this point.

That’s not very useful. Thank you.

Nice. Does it do projections with budgets? Like how is my savings account going to be in 6 months after putting in X$ every month?

Huh. Well that fucks with my current GNUCash workflow of having transactions months in advance. Does Firefly do budgets well?

Thank you, that’s very helpful.

I need to have aptitude because the TUI is boss. Even if it had less features than apt, I’d still prefer it. It’s nice to know it’s ahead of the curve, though.

Just use aptitude and be happy.

Disclaimer: while aptitude was originally designed to replicate the apt CLI interface, I have never run the search command through it. The TUI is marvelous, though.
