What if I told you a lot of companies don’t have solid review requirement processes? Some barely use version control at all
Amazon or going outside?
Huh, I did not know that. Wild.
Jetbrains moved away from the purchase version model and to an actual monthly/yearly subscription model a very long time ago. I don’t even think you can buy their products anymore, they’re literally subscription models, no longer buy versions then get updates for a year sort of thing. You either pay them and have access or don’t and lose it.
You can default git to using your current branch and a specific upstream so you don’t have to put anything after git push

The only real software engineer anymore is Linus Torvalds, everyone else stands on the shoulders of giants.

It’s not quite as interesting as you might hope:
On November 12th, 2012, YouTuber LifeAccordingToJimmy posted a video titled “Don’t Stop the Music,” a skit based on the awkward moments caused when the music stops at a party and a story one is telling is overheard by others. In the sketch, the music stops as the main character says something particularly strange, causing the partygoers to stare at him. The video gained over 4.2 million views (shown below).
That’s a bit sad, init?
On modern Linux versions you need to add --no-preserve-root or it won’t work as nicely
No, you’re not, but the circle jerk here is definitely against discord.
I find it on a truck that could find in my comment history.

They probably expect the signage to change a lot and don’t want a hardware failure when they do it too much, or didn’t use an external drive in this case and the SD card failed because they wrote to it too much (which would happen eventually anyway).

It’s funny people still think this, they just replaced nearly my entire M1 MacBook Pro that was completely fucked because of water damage. Literally everything but the display was replaced, I basically have a new computer at the cost of $300+whatever I paid for AppleCare+ when I bought it ($400, I think?), which is significantly cheaper than buying a new one would have been
