Possibly but my role was such Im really only supposed to be working on my project and not monkey with the server which is used by other projects. I don’t think it was a restriction I think it was just laziness by whoever set it up.

just worked a job where I did not have privlages to sudo commands. except su. had to sudo su so I could run a script.
I mean I was sorta using your logic. arch is more like debain than ubuntu.
holy crap. I can’t imagine actually knowing someone being public about nazi stuff. There were folks with like confederate flags but it was a little after the dukes of hazard and I don’t think they had the meaning to it that has resurfaced in this millenium.
steam is based on arch so you would have to add those two and then compare and that is 48.7 so all the rest would have to be debian.
changed friends?
ini as in windows init files?
well its text but its just a bit more complex of a flat file. like yaml. like one thing I really liked about cisco ios was how the config file the commands where pretty much the same thing. granted thats not unix but its the simplicity level that is ideal to me.
yeah I just hate the move away from flat text files honestly. Its one thing I did not like about windows NT with the registry. databasing up the config.
yeah I have literally had something where I list off a bunch of problmatic stuff and how it could be some high side and then follow up or everything could go swimmingly which never happens and we could have this low side and they are like ok so the low side. no. no. that is not what im saying.
this is my number one thing I hate. So we are going to be converting over one system to another and you have no ideas what issues will pop up. give an estimation on the project. or like estimation onf fixing a bug or doing something you think the software can do but your not real sure till you look into it.
isn’t like the whole federation thing about less algorithm more personal power.
yeah feels like its just a gui issue. filter for length then maybe an option in settings. actually my mbin instance scrolls like that and can auto do video. if there was some way to filter the feed for only video of a certain size or less. seems like it would be just what you are describing.
I don’t understand the need really. I mean there is no minimum size. seems like it just need a duration option in search.
to be fair the apple II was a fairly common computer in that age (appleII 80’s im talking here not the 90’s stuff). they were like the first things out there and ibm came later and ibm clones came still later. But yeah mac worked for the position in the schools.
at least unix is well represented.
mac was very popular in academia even before osx. It was like the only place you would find macs in the early aughts.
zorin is great if your lazy. and I am.
im going to give and answer and shill for portable apps for windows users. way easier to migrate machines when you just need to copy over a directory. https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/gpodder_portable
at first I thought this required hosting but it looks like maybe its stand alone software now. Am I right or did I misunderstand the site?
