When it all goes down, there’s always the option of just downloading what you want to watch and watch it in your favorite media player. That’s what I do on my phone since I refuse to watch ads and they make everything buffer. Hit the dl button and in under a minute i have the video downloaded in hd.

Yuck. Piss on anything chrome related. Just hit the high seas for what you want to watch, it doesn’t care what browser or os you’re using.

You’re paying them to sell your data and to better advertise to you.

When I have issues, I use user agent switcher and go windows with chrome and the problems magically disappear. Google is such shit.

For me, it just works, it does what I want it to, and it’s not selling my info. A year and half now after leaving windows and I love it. Peaceful

As a noobish user, I found it easier to use lutris. I think I’ll mess with bottles again, but i couldn’t get it to work for me.

It’s “refurbed” by the seller. It also says it has approximately 35,000 hours on it. That’s 4 years of continual use. I wouldn’t trust that with anything.

I think their logic behind this complete bullshit is if they make it hard enough on you to dual boot, you’ll just stick with windows. I switched over a year ago, never looking back and seeing posts like this one makes me feel even better about it.

Wayland runs some games I play much better. It does though for some reason after a while start to lag out with cpu usage off the charts. I found I don’t have that issue with xorg. I have amd, and some games with wayland will after a fresh restart have terrible frame rates but seems like five to ten minutes later they come back and it’s fine. (issue doesn’t happen in xorg) Depending on what game I’m playing or what I’m doing, depends on if run wayland or xorg. It’s as simple as logging out to change so it’s no big deal for me.

Are you unaware of the shipping with prime? I didn’t buy it for the video lol.

This is why even though I pay for prime, I pirate everything. It’s amusing to pay for a service that your experience is better pirating than using the service you pay for.

I feel that, played from LK to Shadowlands. At times I miss it, but really just miss the old days of it and the people I played with.

How’s the blizz launcher now? I bailed and went to ffxiv and that plays flawlessly. I keep trying to talk myself out of going back to wow because of how toxic it became.

I’ve used it for some windows only programs and it works great, the only gripe I could have is the one looks different because of the fonts. I’m sure I could add in the fonts or w/e and make it identical though.
