just looking around for now

maybe they have it mapped to enter, you never know with laptop linux users.
i our household it definetely is. selling stuff on ebay or returning packages is most of what we use it for, and 200-300€ plus 10-20€ in ink bottles every year or so will eventually be cheaper too.
not saying you have to buy one for yourself, it’s just worth the money for many people.
brother certainly has a good reputation, but i’ve been using an epson ecotank for a couple years now.
once the 18000 page self-brick counter goes off, i’ll try to reset it. if that doesn’t work, i’ll definetely try getting a brother laser printer. i print B&W most of the time anyways.
it did warn him to be fair. he had to type out “yes, do as i say”, which is a HUGE red flag. even to me, a farely casual windows user.
android is based on a modified linux kernel, but boesn’t have much else in common.
i think chromebooks don’t get counted as linux, i may be wrong though
If you don’t have one already, it could be turned into a linux-based input device for your TV.
“linux mint, but it sells your data”
i know microsft isn’t really selling it, but they’re making money like they do.
never had anything quite as bad, there are a lot of people commenting “JuSt SwiTcH tO LiNuX” and never answer when you explain how you’ve tried to switch but sim racing, CAD and many other things are way too complicated to get running reliably.
they may be using really slow hard drives or an SSD without DRAM.
or maybe a shitty network switch?
maybe the bandwidth is used up by a torrent box?
there’s a lot of possible causes.
if the cpu performance and memory capacity is still enough, i’d recommend upgrading the storage. SSDs are reportedly getting more expensive, but it isn’t that bad yet.
running an external drive through some kind of USB 3.X connection would also be possible, although at reduced speed. (won’t matter with a HDD, obviously)
not OC, but i ended up redownloading whatever was x265 and replacing it with 264 or anything else.
also the 1060 in my NAS can do NVENC encoding. that helped a lot with compatibility.
one of the best anime i ever watched. might even start reading the manga.
the monopoly has been crumbling for years. high time for devs to develop with linux in mind.
gonna check that out on my mint install, thx!
i’ll try that out. once i get my full list of games working, there’s just my T300 to worry about.
there’s no way i’m streaming fortnite. i’m not even streaming video (only from my own server)
currently using Win10. i am not upgrading to 11.
once i figure out how to play games like fortnite and other anticheat games on linux, i’m honna switch over so hard.
Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita
has slight pedo vibes tho.
