Sometimes I feel like farming would be better than DevOps.

Whats a good alternative?

I use both. I have a self hosted docker compose instance of mailcow, which alerts me when an update is available.

I also use protonmail as well.

Self hosting was a pain in the ass to get working, but I’ve had no issues with it once up. I tossed it behind a reverse proxy to keep it from directly touching the internet.

I just moved from Nano to Helix and love it. I added nnn and Zellij as well it works wonderful.

Tried Doom Emacs but Helix had a smaller learning curve it felt.

Just moved from Endeavor to NixOS. It’s a huge learning curve and takes a while to build your config or flakes, but damn does it feels nice to just roll back if you mess up over re-installing.
