Ive got a Magnavox Odyssey. Gift from a family member who knew I collected older games. Its a bit older than I can really get into playing but its fun to bring out every now and then.
Yes, I agree. Especially 3. Still love them though.
I considered the early Kirby’s but I think youre right. Their low-difficulty is their charm.
Not an unpopular opinion but all of the early Pokémon games could have used a hard mode.
Obscure game but I beat Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout with more then 30 lives without even trying. Though that’s only one of several issues with that game.
Love gamesack, great youtube channel to deepdive.
Team Buddies is a ton of fun. Here’s a clip of the vs gameplay
Tons of great stuff in this era, I have someones google drive bookmarked that has all the art from a few different systems. It can be frustrating trying to track down which artist did the illustrations though.
This is one of my personal favs
Seems like efficient design. Cords on the back, disc tray on the top with a couple buttons. Really the Gamecube is basically the same thing.
“My eyes are down here”
Awesome set! I’m still not sure how I want to display my gb/gbc carts
Such a great game. A group of my friends and I booted it up recently and spent the night just playing the campaign.
The prototype is out there if anyone with a Dreamcast wants to check it out.
Yeah it’s incredible what fan dedication can bring about. If you follow the news on romhacking.net you see games getting their first translations all the time!
Mario came in first again huh
Perfect system for it! Genesis 6 button controller is way better for it than using the triggers on SNES.
Despite the memes I love Sonic R!
Exdeath for sure. His WWE entrance music plays and he walks on screen and wrecks the place. He is so maniacal and I love it.
I was never a big fan of this one, the screen size just doesn’t make for good pinball. Pinball games really got good when they started scrolling the screens.
