The fact that you believe software based neural networks are, as you put it, “static circuitry” betrays your apparent knowledge on the subject. I agree that many people overblow LLM tech, but many people like yourself grossly underestimate it as well.

I’m not going in totally blind - I have experience with using linux on the server side. I’ve just never used it for a personal desktop environment.
Interesting, good to know. I’m not quite there yet, but my next build will 100% run linux, I just haven’t decided on the distro yet. Thanks for the info!

Looks pretty much the same as a template string in Javascript, an arguably crazier language.
Linux is more friendly. It requires a certain level of competence that Windows doesn’t, but if you’re above that level it’s generally better.

Why do so many Linux users not understand the meaning of user-friendly?
That’s why I run all my terminal commands through ChatGPT to verify they aren’t some sort of fork bomb. My system is unusably slow, but it’s AI protected, futuristic, and super practical.
I mean, I’ve been using GIMP as my primary photo editor for…over a decade. When I use other programs, nothing is where I expect it to be and I think “well, that’s fucking stupid”
