I dunno if it’s because i played cyberpunk later than everyone else or something but i quite liked it
Valve sold out of steam decks for multiple production runs now. And other companies are now investing in handhelds after seeing the success of it. Steams intention with the Deck was to kick start the handhelds market and make SteamOS the default operating system for that form factor. I don’t know if they profit from the deck directly but i definitely have bought more games since owning one.
Not to mention that most people have a favorite game they go back to that runs on older hardware, AAA certainly makes up a very small percentage of my gameplay
PrettyFlyForAFatGuy@lemmy.mlto Linux@lemmy.ml•[Question] to Linux from Windows as a daily driverEnglish0·2 years agoYou wont know for sure until you try. the main sticking point for gaming on linux is anti-cheat, so if you play a lot of games with that then you may run into some trouble. otherwise ProtonDB is your friend. Most games these days are pretty easy to get up and running.
A lot of AI tools are developed on linux anyway so you shouldn’t encounter too many problems there.
Browsers are no problem at all. I recommend Firefox

Had to request changes recently on a PR like this, big function with comments telling me what it was doing. When they resubmitted for review they had broken it down into smaller functions with good variable/function naming. following what was going on was much easier
