Is there a port for M Macs? I’m missing it so much now that I don’t have Linux on the laptop.

Being OOS doesn’t change that they read the last one that worked consistently for me. I’m not recommending to use it, just stating my experience.
Not sure were the business comment comes from.
Newest versions don’t work very well. The only over that worked consistently got me read 2010.
I think part of the issue is that it’s quite integrated with the system and that makes it harder. Crossover lists 2013 as working, but 2021 as not even installing
The first one I’ve never encountered, but I also never heard about those (only razor). Fit girl always works (the one with Amelie). I’ve tried others and also worked.
It could be those installers have dependencies that are not in your base bottle?
If the alternative is Microsoft, you’re between a rock and another rock that used to claim not being evil.
Libreoffice all the way. Most users don’t need more than that.
Agreed. Mac for work, Linux for general use and gaming. Windows for when my father needs to use my computer to check Facebook.
Part of Russia is part of Eastern Europe. But but all Eastern Europe is Russia.
Laughs in Eastern Europe
I don’t think that’s very Lemmy of you to post a link to a reddit comment.
want to see a world where content creators are simply paid by the hour, while they work.
Do you? Because that’s how game developers get their ideas crushed in favor of yet another game as a service that nobody asked for but makes stock holders happy.
And for alternative creators, who would pay? Do they need to be churning content as a job and not because they are inspired?
I get the idea, it’s just that seems hard to pull off
I really wish they get to the point where we can expect long term with no breaking changes. I love it but I have been burnt twice, which is not a lot, but it was very annoying both times
This is quite old (way before OLED), so might not even be still a thing, but I remember that arch was updating too quickly and things were breaking all the time, so it took a lot of effort to get stable releases for steamOS.
I’m afraid it will have to be a “a friend that worked on the deck told me”. 100% understand if nobody believes
There are internal talks to go back to Debian, very likely the public release is delayed until then.
I hope they get to release v4.6.1: “It doesn’t even matter”
Well, they kind of gave it away with the name…
If a country like the US had a lower violent dead per capita than other first world countries like France or Germany, I would agree with you. But given that the numbers are 3 to 6 times those of EU countries, it doesn’t seem to be working.
Still, if you want to quantify how many lives were saved in any given year I can give you how many innocent ones were lost. Hard to measure, you say? Then it’s a weak arguments based on feelings not facts.
Ahh, the typical Reddit old tradition of vague statement of knowledge with no meat to not be rebutted. Had hoped that didn’t reach Lemmy.
Lightning round. Russia? Ha! China? Ha! North Korea? Japan? Ha! Netherlands? Hahahaha
USA…? Hahahahahahhahahhaha
Innocent lives lost due to “law abiding citizens” mishandling guns: a metric shit ton
Corrupt governments toppled by gun lovers: 0
The thought of how many people might be stocking ammo and thinking to use out if their favorite politician loses makes me happy for having an ocean between me and them.

Weirdly shows not officially supported on github.
