Well zygist didn’t work before so i thing the did change something, wich is also likely cause it seems like they redid the whole app

My bank app had this and i had to go through quite a lot of hoops. Then i didn’t have root for a while (new phone) and when i got root again i also only needed to enable zygist for it to work. So i guess they changed it?

Well i don’t really have a choice as i want to code some stuff for my smartwatch (pine time) and also wanted to take a look at the code of the hyprland window manager (wich is written in C++ afaik)

I have not experienced it but half of the arch users on reddit seem to have experienced it. Also it’s not a continuous problem but rather a problem with a certain arch and grub version. However the fact it happened once (to many people) means it can happen a second time

When was this talk ever about a production environment??? Of course i wouldn’t run fucking arch on a server or similar. But the benefits bof arch on my PC outweigh the disadvantages

I can confirm debian is harder because of missing firmware. I haven’t managed a working debian install yet

Until you run it for more than a year and have more packages installed. Like everyday something doesn’t work for me (ok granted some of it is my own fault). My arch install feels like it’s held together by ductape and some silly string.

What they are referring to is people just don’t update their server because during that time they wouldn’t be able to make a profit. This goes more to middle siszed businesses but happens rather often
