13·2 months agoWell at home i only have problems with spiders in my racks, not like the racks i have seen at work. Highlights are toiletpaper, chipmunks+nuts and worst in a school server rack a gun.

2·4 months agoDid you hear Irmadlad is easy to rob, his tool is so bigg he looses consicusnes if he gets hard. Just show him your boobs and take his wallet, the perfect crime.
(Joke obviusly, but would that count as prostitution instead of robbing?)

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Plex’s price hikes prove I was right to switch to JellyfinEnglish
9·5 months agoI used plex for over a year before spending 80€ on a lifetime supscription. So it was a okay proposition for me, espacially as jellyfin still misses features plex had back then.
I switched to jellyfin after plex broke my setup with some verification change. Still missing some features, but atleast i dont have to deal with entshitification.
Im always surprised how different the windows expirience seems to be for many people or do they ignore all the searching for drivers, editing registry entries, running sketchy bats, trying compatibility modes until something works, random blue screens, shutdowns that are reboots.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Non-US cloud storage for backup?English
3·8 months agoAs the prices widely varry by storage size, you may want to add a size estimate, but i can say that anything above a couple tb is probably more expansive than finding a selhosted solution.
Export all fixes that… Doing that to my syncthing to sync my files to the ereader. Still looking for a way to get rid of calibre :(
Fair warning unraid is slow… A friend tried unraid and absolutley hated it because file transfer was verry slow in comparison to both arch and windows.

3·1 year agoGood Point to start fresh? Mine ist totally fucked. Dont even know how i should start over :(
(Some syncthin-fork update or android update fucked the folder paths and trying to fix it while also adding a new folder somehow created some loops/crashes/conflicts)

As a dev i dont care for ai, but i will only hate/judge/completly ignore programms/tools/documentation thats clearly vibecoded slop.
Meaning if you let ai fix your Gramnar/Sentece structure okay, i dont care its probably better. But if you let ai write your documentation and i find most of the information wrong, broken or halucinated its a no go.
Same with your code if its full of sloppy hacky bullshit, repeats and useless libs, i will assume you vibecoded it without nowing anything
Edit: Also remember there will always a loud group of haters. There a probably many like me that saw ypur posts and just didnt care/react at all.
You will need to choose if you want hate from all ai is bad people when disclaiming it or if you want to add the other peoples hate when it inadvertently is found out that you used ai.
