Not only TiVO, IIRC Tecno (the phone company) is in violation of the GPL-2.0 too by not providing device trees.

iirc theyre meant to improve reproducibility by using pinned versions of stuff like nixpkgs instead of inheriting from your system which could be a problem if for example someone on 23.11 sends a deriv to someone on 24.05

Clevo? I used to have one of those. Was a laptop from 2009. Sadly the fan sensors failed and now it shuts down on boot due to always thinking its overheating. However, it wasn’t sold under Clevos brand name, had Turbo-X (local company where I live) branding and even a “Style note” splash screen.

yea, i’ve made my own rust neofetch (more like nitch but whatever) and i dont aggressively advertise it everywhere under the sun. I only made 1 post about it in unixporn

Pywal: sets all the colours of your Linux desktop (terminal colours, GTK theme, config files derived from template files) according to the colours of your wallpaper
On Windows for me it takes a solid 5 seconds, on Linux it’s barely a second.
