I think latly, especially in plasma 6, KDE got as viable on old machines as XFCE and surly mint and cinnamon.

Not vonly hard to learn, it lacks some really basic stuff like undestructive ediring (adjusment layers) and such.
Climate was only cool in the 1700’s…
I’ve got a 15 years old dell laptop and KDE neon is smooth and seemless. Booting takes less than a minute.

May I ask, if you don’t mind, why did you go for all the troubles of arch and kde and the setup, when there’s already kde neon fully set up or even Manjaro distro? Is it because arch base is somehow better than neon’s Ubuntu base?
By the way, it looks slick and beutifull and in time you’ll gradually tweak it to be the best productivity machine for you!
