The industry could easily switch to calling it ECMAScript.
You have long ago abandoned the JavaScript trademark, and it is causing widespread, unwarranted confusion and disruption.
JavaScript is the world’s most popular programming language, powering websites everywhere. Yet, few of the millions who program in it realize that JavaScript is a trademark you, Oracle, control. The disconnect is glaring: JavaScript has become a general-purpose term used by countless individuals and companies, independent of any Oracle product.
They’re gonna need to apply a patch
Totally, there’s still a use for tape and optical, too. But SSD will be the dominant media soon.
I get a sense that the tipping point for the final HDD to SSD transition will be soon. A lot of people are willing to spend a little more for SSD when the capacity-to-price is almost as good as HDD. I think this will first spike demand followed by spiked production followed by a significant drop in price after production ramps up (as long as the companies avoid any economic funny business).
Assuming you are referring to Pastebin.com, here are some alternatives: https://alternativeto.net/software/pastebin/?license=opensource&platform=self-hosted
You’re welcome. I hope it works out for you.
I haven’t tried with Linux, but it is a standard USB mic: Samson Meteor.
It’s $30-$40. It folds for travel. The audio quality is great. It can be mounted on an arm.
A post on linux.org from May says:
I bought a simple, cheap and cheerful usb mic - Samson Meteor condenser Microphone Analogue - and it all works great. Just plugged it in and away it went. I opted for a mic that didn’t need any drivers. Apparently only the cheap ones don’t come with drivers.
but “bacause” is spelled correctly
I hope it leads you on a bit before this reveal.
Good point!
It’s especially nice to use either of these on Linux because you can use symlinks to have the server think the audio files are in more than one place without using any extra storage space.
Yes, but it’s a regular expression.
Just make sure to always be careful with recursion.
I’ve used https://draw.io (apparently https://app.diagrams.net/ now) before for this exact purpose. I mapped out network, devices, and services.
Yeah, about:config is one of the best things about Firefox. It allows a standard user not to stumble into settings that would lead to frustration or needing help. But it also lets power users use Firefox the way they want to. I’m always annoyed when a setting is removed from there.
This was going to be my suggestion. It may seem like you need a ui.com account for it, but there is a way to use the equipment without one.
Long-time happy TigerVNC user. Solid product. Active development. Responsive to bug reports and feature requests.
Fire up a couple VMs to snuggle with.
