I’m allergic to dogs and don’t drink, bad recruiter, shoo! Shoo! spray bottle noises
Any (enterprise grade) equipment not capable of 6 that is still in use is a ticking time bomb.
Next up, the Oxford comma; Meet the strippers, Hitler and Stalin
Meanwhile, in the US, the government paid ISPs for fiber to be ran and they just pocketed it instead.
Now we’ve got smaller companies running fiber and charging less for synchronous gigabit than you’d pay for copper 500mb down 5mb up, and ISPs are panicking a bit.
All the fiber maps have big empty zones where apartment complexes are, sadly.
Administrating Windows makes you want to drink.
Other useful bootable tools are MS DaRT and Hirens Boot Disc (is that still a thing? Haven’t used it in a while.)
The drive is also still usable for bulk storage, so a big one is still a great option. I’ve got it set up on a nice small form factor 256GB usb.
(Assuming SATA) some people get away with drilling a hole in the half opposite the connector, the actual chip is like 1/4th the size of the drive casing. M.2 form factor is just screwed though.
I mean, technically powershell “get-help” but… yeah.
Or wood 2.2 has an unpatched zero day and now some dude in Russia owns your barn until you repaint every surface (wipe and reload)
Any book that gets a movie or TV show seems to replace the original cover with an ad for the movie/TV show
System wide config for an application? Lets put that under C:\users*????
It might be nicer/more modern, but it looks kinda… generic. I think a lot more people would’ve been happier with a continuation of the original.
Any day you/your company could potentially be contacted by a 3 letter agency and/or the police to pull the data from a specific user for an investigation. “ESI request” is a term I hear on occasion.
It’s a good idea to be on good terms with your employers lawyers.
Legion is… bad. Every enemy is a bullet sponge, a “nonlethal” stun machine gun takes like 30 rounds to down a non-heavy enemy. it’s just a bunch of cycling through different specific areas, completing the objective , and getting away. The DLC prequel story with Wrench and Aiden is cool, but otherwise its standard ubisoft repetitive shlock.
The art and environment is beautifully grungy though, and raytracing reflections are gorgeous. The general world building is interesting. There’s just no compelling plot.
I’d love a big game with T-bone/ray Kenney as the main character (in a different area than Chicago, the second game mentions him messing around in NYC so I could see it), not just a DLC.
Such a fun game. I doubt the current ubisoft could create a comparable game. 2 was great for the size of it but felt a little lackluster in immersion, Legion was… ubisoft “capture zone, unlock tower” but cyberpunk-adjacent.
Sure do! They’re on the prod servers and were one of the first things deleted!
My experience working with the MFP xeroxs has been “change a single setting? Guess what? Reboot!”…
I mean, yeah. That too.
