Only real reason I use fennec over mull is mull by default has a fingerprinting setting that, while being better for privacy, locks the app to 60hz and my phone supports 120hz. If 60hz doesn’t bother you then I think mull is the better choice. But they’re really similar at the end of the day

Oohhh def checking this out. One of my college classes was writing a compiler for a made up language and it was super fun! I wrote mine in Python and I thought it was a really cool project

Droidify is more like a really nice looking frontend alternative to F-Droid. But it also has other sources it pulls from like IzzyOnDroid and stuff like that. Obtanium can pull from F-Droid and IzzyOnDroid and such but you have to know what you’re looking for, there isn’t really any browsing aspect afaik. Obtanium can also pull directly from a GitHub page. (Droidify may also be able to do this by adding the repo to the sources but I haven’t tried)

Personally I use droidify for everything I can get on F-Droid and IzzyOnDroid and obtanium for the few things that just have a GitHub page

Yeah regarding the first part, for the most part I’m the same way. I don’t care about email. But my work absolutely does. And it’s a big part of our communication, moreso now that we are full wfh
