I absolutely love this idea. Does it support ActivityPub? And I would love to see users can set labels on themselves like what expertise they can offer etc.

The DX of this project is not ideal at all. Like, they are using a different image than GitHub provided, so you get different errors when you deploy… which defeats the entire purpose! That’s if you figured out how to run it locally in the first place after weird errors.

What do you mean by “monad has no business value”? /s

The easiest way to set up reverse proxy + auto HTTPS for a homelab is https://nginxproxymanager.com/ There is also https://pangolin.net/ which I think is too overkill for you atm :3

Pangolin is not a VPN. But it does magical things like allowing you to manage reverse proxy from both VPS and homelab within one UI interface.
Just a reminder, there is 0 mainstream CAD software native to Linux. MAYBE you can get one of the mainstream software working on Linux. Or browser solutions like Onshape or TinkerCAD.
If you do programming and don’t want to go through hoops of containers and sandboxes, avoid immutable OS like Bazzite.
If you want to use your computer to finish projects, not starting a new project, avoid arch-based.
If you want “power user features” like right-clicking on a folder to open a terminal, avoid GNOME.
Your GPU is borderline getting dropped by official Nvidia driver btw.
Cool project :3 btw, what’s the tool you use to do the screen recording?

I DIDNT KNOW THAT! WOW, this puts “not to use network_mode: host” another level.

GitHub is like programmer OnlyFans. Only the top .1% gets millions of downloads.

Try a-shell. If you set your screen to always on it might works.

Why? Unless you need specific kernel features, Docker is superior because of containerization (runs on host kernel with no overhead), uses less space (layered image), and is easy to set up a complicated network (you want certain apps to run behind WireGuard with reverse proxy? Few lines in yaml).
Tomorrow, all OS have to collect user gender during installation. Not being used for anything, not being verified. But it’s there. What’s the big deal? /s
