You lunge for it, but the room spins nauseatingly away. The floor gives you a light tap on the forehead.
Good start to the day.
Pity it’s going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on.
Bedroom, in the bed
The bedroom is a mess. It is a small bedroom with a faded carpet and old wallpaper. There is a washbasin, a chair with a tatty dressing gown slung over it, and a window with the curtains drawn. Near the exit leading south is a phone. There is a flathead screwdriver here. (outside the bed) There is a toothbrush here. (outside the bed)
You wake up. The room is spinning very gently round your head. Or at least it would be if you could see it which you can’t.
It is pitch black.
Slackware.
I mean, there haven’t been THAT many Spider-Man games.
When I was a kid…
List of games here:

I did not, but now that you mention it…
The CONTROLLERS though…
For 5th gen, check out Loaded and Re-Loaded on the Playstation. Diablo-ish.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loaded_(video_game)
For 4th gen, Gain Ground on the Sega Genesis.
Considering HDMI 2.1 and Display Port 1.4 can’t run that fast…hmmm… no.
Wait until she finds out about daemons.
Sorry, that’s what I meant, the OG Xbox being the last one to support it.
I forget when they stopped supporting it. OG Xbox maybe?
Phantasy Star Online, lost hundreds of hours there.
Phantasy Star. Hands down.
Oh, yeah, it wasn’t the complication that made the 5200 conttoller bad, the stick was literally terrible and they broke ALL the time.
Think the current problem with stick drift only 100x worse.
I’m actually amazed there are still functional 5200 controllers out there.
The Jaguar controller was pretty standard by comparison.
5200 was the best console with the worst controller. :)
I gotta be honest with you… I NEVER cared for the Zelda games. Even when they were new, they seemed low tier to me. Great for kids who had never played an RPG before… not so great for anyone else.
Here’s what I’d do… pick a genre and experience that genre start to finish. You don’t have to spend a lot of time on each individual game, it’s more about the journey.
So, for example, fighting games.
Atari 260O Boxing
Karate Champ
Yie Ar Kung Fu
Street Fighter
Street Fighter II
7800 is the best bang for the buck. 2600 games + 7800 games.
If you have a Genesis or a Game Gear, all you need is an adaptor for Master System games.

They lost money on the hardware and didn’t make it back on software, so you’re likely right.
