Windows doesn’t even have a proper terminal lol
Windows doesn’t even have a proper terminal lol
It’s one of the reasons I absolutely hate Windows. Nearly every OS uses some form of Unix. Android is Linux, iOS is based on XNU which is FreeBSD, macOS is also XNU, Linux is unix-like, all BSDs are Unix, even the OS used in the PS4 is FreeBSD and thus Unix. Windows is the only thing that’s different.
Some Tailscale clients are open-source and you can self-host a Headscale server
All of them are beautiful, but I like the middle-left one the most
Linux isn’t Unix, it’s Unix-like
Maybe it’s just because I’m fundamentally more of a console user than a windowing-system user, but to me a Unix-based OS is always going to be a winner compared to Windows.
I absolutely agree
But, if you want to laugh at OSes, laugh at classic MacOS
Or some weird old Unixes like AIX
Most Gentoo users use OpenRC.
Gentoo users don’t use systemd.
If you do neofetch > .bashrc
you will simply have a broken shell config. To add neofetch
to the bashrc you need to use echo.
Pro tip: Infect your Windows friends with malware, then get them to switch to Linux

I use them for privacy reasons. They will register the domain name under their company name, you don’t have to give out any data about yourself whatsoever. You can pay anonymously with crypto currencies like Monero. Njalla was actually founded by one of the guys who also founded The Pirate Bay.
+1 for WebCord
Or WebCord, it’s the Discord web app packaged as a native application. It has pretty good support for screen sharing on Wayland and some minor privacy improvements through blocking the telemetry APIs.
Definitely Tailscale
Based Terry
I agree.
It’s used to store configuration files for various applications so they don’t clutter up your home directory. For example, you can put your Emacs config files in ~/.config/emacs instead of ~/.emacs.d. Not every program supports it though.
Nah, Windows always does that on its own. No intervention required.
