Yeah well that sucks. Monochrome icons are ugly. Might as well use gnome then. I’m just hoping that we will still have the option to change back to the colored ones.

I hope so. I have faith in them
It does look very professional, but I just don’t like the monochrome icons. I hate them with a burning passion. I really hope they leave the colored ones as an option
Please don’t tell me they’re making the settings icons colorless like this? Please say they’re not? This looks horrible.
I honestly don’t want to say “right?” Because I know many of the folks who work on it are volunteers who don’t have to do this shit, so I’ll just wait for it. I wish I knew how to do it myself. Gnome has it. Windows switches to spanning automatically when it detects the dimensions of the wallpaper, I’m just wondering why a massive de like KDE doesn’t have it
Welp, I didn’t know about Krita splitting pics, now I’m going to use it. And there IS an app called superpaper that works, but very funky and works half ass on Wayland. Like the system tray icon doesn’t show and the app can’t be launched, but it does cycle between wallpapers in the background. Also, if I knew how, I’d make the feature work on KDE. I can’t code in C++ to save my life.
The year of the Linux desktop will happen when plasma has wallpapers span across two monitors. 😂 Thank you, Nate and the whole team for the amazing work. This desktop is getting better and better by the day.
Is there way to know if there is an update, or do I need to keep doing git pulls?
Oh, this is good. It replaced the version I already had installed. I like what you are doing to it. Edit: A suggestion: You should add instructions on how to update it since it is a manual install
Have you changed the name yet?
I just suggested “Slightly”. >:)
Slightly? Lol
I like new options. I’d suggest you change the name, though. I still have the regular lightly and I want to use this alongside it.
Great work. I’m going to pin it to my browser and take a look around. I know 0 about C++ (mostly work with C# at work), but hey anything I can do I will do. Thank you.
Fractional scaling was the only issue that held me from using Wayland for way too long. So glad they’ve fixed it with 6, otherwise, I would have been still on x11
Where have I heard of this app? Hmmm
No idea what customer overlays are. Lol
Happy birthday to the absolute best DE on the planet. I fucking love you. ❤️
