1·3 months agoCouple of questions about the directory structure: why separate library folders? Can’t they play off a central library and wouldn’t something like Overseer take care of requests?
Using nfs on ext4 file systems, I’ve always just added them to fstab and it works just like that
MythTV has movie/TV and music libraries, so it’s not too different than the other two. Also, you can use a tv tuner like TVheadend with jellyfin.
I used MythTV for years and eventually switched to Kodi to get more modern UIs. I eventually separated the server part with jellyfin to get more flexibility, keeping Kodi on little raspberry pi boxes as clients

- Steam games server (these are external containers)
- Looking to add cloud files access; just haven’t decided what and how, yet
Just happy when my long internet history can actually contribute something.
It originally referred to a camera, so a meme to draw attention to poor quality pictures–“camera is potato” and then “potato quality”
Thanks. I had been meaning to try some of the recipe apps, but this gives me another idea to consider.
