I did just that when I first switched to Linux, I installed KDE Neon on Linux Mint. And it broke everything. And when I went to forums to ask for help everyone yelled at me. So maybe don’t recommend installing KDE on Linux Mint.

Right, so Ubuntu
Well then obviously if you use libraries, your code is too complicated
Huh, Linux uses GPLv2? Does anyone have any info about why?
Edit: Found a video https://youtu.be/PaKIZ7gJlRU. Makes sense. Complete freedom to use and modify the software means freedom to use the software in a proprietary device with DRM, as long as you still give the changes to the public.
Yeah, I mean, the best thing to do is to get it working ahead of time.
Still applies though. “Oh but it used to be worse”
Everyone in the comments: “Actually I don’t have the same problems so this is wrong”
It’s different for different people. The distro, the hardware, and the game can all have an effect on how often problems arise.
Or Nvidia either according to all the people telling me my problems aren’t valid.
So if you want a good time with Linux you need and AMD GPU or integrated graphics, and it can’t be too new, and it can’t be too old.
I think linux’s image is pretty accurate
Also “Be ready to learn a new operating System! Linux isn’t Windows and the terminal is key to fix issues.” I agree. I think that’s not a good idea for a lot of people though. So I think posts like OP’s are kinda stupid. People shouldn’t try to push Linux on people who shouldn’t use it.
I use flatpak because my apt dependencies are borked
Lol, I mean it’s better to have a brief period of drama than permanently put up with the bad management. Although Sodium is an exception to that, I think the people working on it are the right people.
I’m conflicted on the license change, though. I don’t know if it makes sense or not.
