I haven’t heard any such thing unless you are paying for their video CDN which isn’t cheap

🤮 Asslassian
You would change it from orange cloud to gray cloud to disable the proxy in your domain DNS settings.
Specifically for the jellyfin subdomain.
That would be the correct solution IMO.
Be careful about using video over the cloudflare proxy, they will come after you if you are using a TON of bandwidth
This is lemmy… Did someone not tell you that?
Check the SMART data with crystaldiskinfo
My go-to for user and group IDs is 1234:1234
Well if you ever do want to discuss it feel free to give me a shout ;)
I have a full rack colocation, been doing colocation for other people aswell
I have it replicated to a backup server then to one in the dc
You can just refer to them by the name you give it in the services block, it’s actually really simple. No port mappings at all.

Just html, so if you don’t want to run the container you can just dump it in your www folder.
Haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve heard others talk about tailscale
Well it says it’s PoE
So, I’m going to be running my own gateways in a datacenter.
My setup is going to consist of the BIRD Internet Routing Daemon (for BGP) and gatekeeper (for edge DDoS protection).
In the process of building a server for it. So far, I have a dual 25gbps card and 3x dual 10gbps cards, so I can do colocation and have uplinks right off the router.
Mostly, I need to pay for transit, so I can announce my IPs over their network.
I do all my own hosting and am going to be my own ISP here in the next week or so.
Take everything into my own hands 😉
At home I run my ISP modem with a UDM Pro behind it.
My data center setup is a bit more involved.
I agree, I’m a bit of a different case since I’m also colocating my equipment. I run a UDM Pro for all my IPMI with a VPN into that subnet, but everything else is running with public IPs.
