Aesthetically it’s not that great, letters on a flag don’t work as well as actual symbols and the colour scheme could do with not being primary colours.

I spent like 3 days shuffling stuff off an NTFS partition and into a btrfs one last week. It’s doable but takes a while especially if you don’t have much space to put things temporarily. Should probably mention I did it on cachy for the most part, had to use the mount ntfs-3g command a bit

Yeah I grabbed a… Mele quieter or something back in November to replace the noisy greenpower thing I’d had for about 2 years and I got a bit more back than what I spent on it, looking at the mele tiny pc today and it’s doubled in price since I got it. So far it’s been nice though, passive cooling unlike the noisy fan on the other one.

Yeah Lizzy was ok (still monarch and all that but she was like our collective grandma) but this new one is kinda bad imo.

The biggest concern I’ve always had since I first became really aware of the potential for AI was that someone would eventually do something stupid with it while thinking they are fully in control despite the whole thing being a black box.

I should move but I just haven’t found a good time to uproot my main pc and have an extended period of downtime. I’m not really using windows exclusive stuff anymore.

Teamspeak is alright, in fact we use it along with discord for inter-channel Comms. But discord does a lot of stuff that ts doesn’t touch

DSP is good, factorio manages an insane level of polish though. Almost every other factory game I’ve played has been great but I haven’t seen any that get to where factorio is in terms of completeness. I’d have to take another look at DSP if they’ve got enemies now though, the multi-planet logi was a nice spin.

I’m not advocating for people using discord in this way because it’s awful, isn’t indexed through web browsers and it’s far from a long-term way of hosting these discussions. However discord isn’t hard to use, searching past information is pretty easy and conversations are just like anywhere else so from my point of view it looks like people here are just hating on it because enough people are misusing the platform.
