By the creator of Flask and many other things
Oh agreed entirely. You can also use different execution strategies to mitigate most performance issues, but it can require some tuning at full enterprise scale.
I won’t hear any sass about Ansible. It doesn’t scale up to infinity but it’s the best there is at what it’s good at (modular, small scale declarative orchestration)
Do you have any insight as to what pain points are driving this? I’m just legitimately curious
Do you have any source for this?
Good point, now I’m wondering why the steam mobile app sucks
They can do the hardware and let someone else compile the os
Yes FSF has done good things for open source. No RMS isn’t a good person. Cults of personality are more of a Reddit thing
It’s possible to recognize technical brilliance while understanding that someone is a deeply flawed human in their personal life. I am appreciative of his contributions to the open source ecosystem while also recognizing there is a cult of personality built around an abusive egomaniac here.
Separately from RMS, idolizing anyone insulates them from criticism. In my opinion it’s elitism and socially unhealthy
Stop idolizing people and especially stop idolizing RMS
The configuration must grow.
