Plasma 6.4 is out and it’s’ more welcoming than ever!

Check out the tweaked tiling that lets you have different layouts for every virtual desktop; the overhauled Spectacle that makes capturing your desktop faster; how KRunner now understands color; and in general the literally dozens of other fixes and features that make Plasma friendlier and easier to use.
Thanks for making the default lock screen slightly less pink! ❤️
KDE is part of the #EndOf10 campaign and we are on a mission to convert as many users over to Linux as we can.

This is the perfect time to ditch Windows and get the new and shiny Plasma 6.4 for your machine!
Check out the upcoming events where you can get Linux installed on your computer:

Thanks to kde and steam proton I switched to Linux a year ago and haven’t touched windows since.
Finally, Spectacle has all the features that I have missed from ShareX during my Windows days. Much love to the developers, you are the best!
Spectacle is absolutely the best snipping tool I’ve ever used. I love it.
Been a KDE fan since the late 90s! Keep up the good work, y’all!
Nothing but love for the KDE team! I moved to KDE during roughly Plasma 5.1 days. (Always wanted to love Plasma 4, but just… it was Plasma 4)
Not once have I regretted it, and Plasma has been on every computer in my house since then.
❤️❤️❤️ to the KDE team!
@octopus_ink @kde At least KDE 4 looked good. Oxygen is one of my favorite desktop themes ever!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social One feature which made me switch to KDE is the password dialog which describe *what* exactly asks for the password.
Not perfect but better than other DEs.
@kde @kde@lemmy.kde.social Once @archlinux @archlinux gets Plasma 6.4, I’m updating! (I already have most of the changes via the KDE Frameworks updates, but) Plasma 6.4 looks REALLY GOOD! Well done to the KDE team!

Thank you guys for the great work!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social So… I can finally get rid of those fugly sound indicators again - hopefully. If so: Thank you!
how KRunner now understands color
Smh. I don’t want my KRunner to see color.
