Careful. I bite. Rampantly homosexual. Massively depressed. Don’t take what I say too seriously, I’m probably having a wind up.

I’ve not seen some of these words in decades.
It seems to have become fashionable to over-hype it among younger more casual Linux users. Hence things like “Linux/Unix socks”.
It’s quite heavily pushed in Discord servers where you’ll be asked to choose whether you’re a “catboy” or “femboy”.
It’s quite irritating. Some of those ‘femboys’ can be quite homophobic funnily enough which is infuriating.
You mean your mum and the goldfish? I don’t know of any other people who play it.
Colonies?! Colonies?!!!? I’m British you dirty Kraut! Wait, do you mean the Saxons?
Listen here you little shit! Don’t try and be funny. You’re German - it’s not in your nature!
I dunno why but they wanted you to comment your name, age and location in a welcome channel. I did and they screenshot and shared it in the main channel. Most of the people are around 16-19 with a few 20-25yo. I didn’t know that til I joined though!
I was very weird to be there apparently.
I just wanted to take the piss out of Europeans. There’s no age-limit in that.
It also seems to attract a younger crowd - I had to state my age to join one server and the mod screenshotted my info and everyone laughed calling me “boomer”. I’m only 40 (Millennial) and it wasn’t a gaming or specifically teen-server. It was a silly ironic European Reddit server.
The subreddit seems to have a range of ages. The Discord server is a bunch of kids commenting capybara and cat emojis like it’s funny. :/
1983
The greatest fucking year in the universe. Do you know what happened in that year?
Planets configured. Temperatures happened. Volcanoes contemplated. Wind occurred.
Yours truly was BORN!
Bow before me worms of conscience!
Remember IRC!
I don’t understand what people are doing to their machines. I’ve been using Arch Linux exclusively for ~10yrs now and only ONCE had a problem when upgrading Java. That was fixed in about 10mins after reading the Arch update notes.
Most recently I’ve been running AwesomeWM for 2yrs and it’s been so bloody stable and simple. I found KDE just as stable before but a bit heavy for my taste.
This is where the Breaking Bad episode came from?!
Mash into a thick paste and smooth over wholewheat bread with a dash of salt.
Fist in Anus protocol.
I’ve been using Arch Linux for years. I’m gay but not a femboy. Explain
Linux is so much better than sex.
This happens with age. After multiple cycles of FOMO driven by the pushing of consumer demand you eventually realise it’s all bullshit and attain a state of JOMO.
It’s why people chasing the latest graphics card “ray tracing” bullshit seems so pointless.
I think it’s French for new.
So…noo-vo
