I’m not doubting you, but I am surprised. My android is 10 years old now. I switched to FF on it recently and haven’t noticed a difference other than the URL bar is on the bottom now 🙃

Yes I’m starting to realise that with layers one need never leave to home row at all.
I haven’t even messed with mouse macros, which I’m hopeful will reduce my need to leave the keeb even moreso
Just kind of pondering my key combinations in tmux, vim, etc. I’ve started using “layers” and “combo keys” in my keyboard layout and it’s really showing me what’s possible

Yeah it sucks. If the commits are really helpful, you can just paste the git log into the PR/MR/CR body after it’s been merged
Depends, but usually I will put in the effort up front and maybe tweak them in an in[eractive rebase, or just manually copy+paste.

Soft reset the whole branch and commit a series of atomic and semantic patches (eg separating code, test, and refactor changes) that tell a clean narrative of the changeset to reviewers, future blamers.

That’s correct. This is for work, which uses GitHub. The dangling commits remain accessible via their sha through the web ui, so I can link them in the PR description. I don’t put them in the actual commit message.
I think these are garbage collected eventually, but no idea on cadence. It’s long, anyway.
Whatever works for you, but I love writing a quality commit message. It’s like my reward for doing all that work - wrapping up the changes in a nice little summary.
