you are the reason people hate Linux users, so high and mighty.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it was actually an accident. I had mint, then went to install latest zorin and it asked to split, I said sure why not. hadn’t gone through the process in a long time, wanted to see how it went. I really only use zorin though
lol Roblox is what he’s into right now. he can play that on anything though really, so he uses a surface.
I have zorin and mint dual booting on my surface book.
really liking zorin, very pleasing to look at, simple, haven’t run into any software I had on windows that I can’t run here. I don’t game on, could still be a slight negative, but so far I love it.
network solutions does this too, search a domain on their site, comeback a month and now they own it and will sell it to you of course. not sure if they still do,but I know for fact they did years back.
I just rebuilt my truenas in a node 804 and LOVE it. so much hard drive space. wanted to get the 304 for my personal backup server, but got thermal takes corev1 instead. looks uglier, but works well too.
but a shutdown is NOT a restart anymore and doesn’t quit and restart processes
I usually just explain why we have to do a restart again, which is what you described cause I run into that a lot
well shutdown isn’t a full restart anymore, it literally saves your issues and reloads it when it turns on. so we have to doublecheck that too. it should count as restart, but doesn’t.
Yeah, it’s probably running as a service, no icon anywhere. Should be good.
Even without a static, you can use services like ddns.net to auto update if your IP address changes with their app. Pretty simple setup, free version too.
Wait, what? What were you seeding?
Know a good way to export/import? I’ve got a large database with custom artworks etc.
thousand reasons to use Poe for tiny devices like this. Ethernet is easier to run for cameras, security setups. don’t need a plug if you’ve got a switch on your workbench. one less cable to run.
